This song works brilliantly for guitar ensemble. I’ve written this for 3 guitars, the melody and the 1st rhythm part use a capo, the other is just open chords without a capo. I’ve attached a small snippet of my ensemble doing it, it’s scratchy I know, as I recorded it on iphone a couple of years ago, but it does give you a good idea of how it sounds. This was a big ensemble of about 20 kids with a few players for each part. It should work just as well for a trio as it does an ensemble of that size.
